Who we are

CrewBrain is software for service businesses, built in Langley, British Columbia, Canada. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean CrewBrain. Mekai Nason, our founder, is the person responsible for how we handle personal information. You can reach him at [email protected] or 778-718-2792.

What we collect

Details you type into our forms. Our forms are the founding member application, the early-access list, the contact form and the demo booking form. Depending on the form, they ask for:

your name, company name, email address and phone number
your trade, city, province or state, and country
your team size, rough yearly revenue, the most you would spend each month, and when you want to start
anything you write in a message box

Nothing from the calculators. Our free calculators run inside your own browser. The numbers you type into them are not sent to us or saved anywhere.

Basic technical details. Like almost every website, our web server and our network provider see your internet address, your browser type, the page you asked for and the time. We use this only to keep the site working and safe from abuse.

No ad tracking. We do not run advertising trackers or analytics tools on this site, and we do not set cookies to follow you around the web. Our network provider, Cloudflare, may set a small security cookie that helps tell real visitors from bots.

Why we collect it

to reply to you
to look at a founding member application and decide if CrewBrain is a good fit for your business
to book and run a demo you asked for
to tell people on the early-access list when CrewBrain opens up

We only use your details for these reasons. If we ever want to use them for something else, we will ask you first.

Your consent

When you send us a form, you agree that we can use those details for the reasons above. You can change your mind at any time. Email [email protected] and we will stop contacting you and delete your details, unless the law requires us to keep something.

Who can see it

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we never will.

A small number of companies help us run the site and reply to you. They only get what they need to do that job:

Cloudflare delivers the website and protects it from attacks.
Google Fonts supplies the lettering on our pages, so your browser asks Google for the font file.
Our email provider carries the emails we send when we reply to you.

Some of these companies are in the United States, so your details may pass through computers outside Canada. When that happens, the laws of that country apply to them. We may also share information if the law requires it.

Where we keep it and how long

Form details are saved in our own database, which is stored in Canada. Only the CrewBrain team can see it.

If you do not become a customer, we delete your form details 24 months after we last heard from you. If you ask us to delete them sooner, we will.

How we protect it

The site only works over a secure (https) connection. Our database is locked so that a website visitor can add a form but cannot read anyone else's details. Only our team can sign in to see form entries.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

show you the personal information we hold about you
fix anything that is wrong
delete it
stop contacting you

Email [email protected]. We will answer within 30 days. If you are not happy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Children

This site is for business owners. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect details from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
