Crew see a job before the deposit is paid
A job booked before its deposit was paid used to be missing from the crew’s list. Now the crew on the job see it right away, and their photos and progress save.

CrewBrain changes every week, because the people who use it tell us what slows them down. Here is how an idea becomes part of the software, and some of the changes we shipped in September and October 2026.
The Community inside CrewBrain has a Roadmap. Every idea sits in one of four columns, so you can always see where it stands.
Someone shares a problem or an idea. Other members vote for the ones they want too.
Our team checks who it helps and what it takes, then says if it is planned, needs more detail, or is not a fit.
We build it and try it in our own two companies before it reaches yours.
It goes live, and everyone who voted for it hears that it shipped.

These came from the crews and office staff at Shine City Pressure Washing and Simple Moves, the two companies that run on CrewBrain every day. Founding members’ ideas join the same list.

A new button writes one numbered text or email with every question still blank on a quote. Staff read it, change it if they want, and send it themselves.

Opening a new quote used to freeze the screen for about half a second. The saved customer list now loads in small pieces, so the screen keeps answering clicks.

A draft invoice used to show a red Overdue badge before anyone sent it. Now an invoice can only be overdue after it is sent, and its date is the day it was sent.

A phone camera once saved a row of solid black before and after photos. The crew app now spots a black photo and asks for a retake.
Asked for by a crew member, through the office
When a customer is home but won’t do the walk-around, the crew can press “Customer won’t do it, start anyway”. The app records it and reminds the crew to take extra photos.

Each rented truck now holds photos of all four sides at pick-up and at return, with who took each one and when.

In Applicant Chat, tapping a new applicant now opens the conversation right away. Their application is one button away.

Office staff were typing the same texts again and again. A new button drops a saved reply into the message box with the customer’s first name filled in. A person still presses Send.

Finished jobs used to disappear from the crew app once the office filed the job report. The crew can now look back at their finished jobs from the last two weeks.
Spotted on a crew member’s phone
Pause in the crew app now always pauses the job timer, and Resume starts it again. That is one less tap on every break, and a break can no longer be counted as work.
Spotted in a crew member’s timesheet
When a customer pays a deposit, the confirmation now tells them the date and time they are booked for.

We update this list by hand. It shows some of the changes from those two months, not all of them.
Not every idea will be built. Extra custom work for one company is talked through and agreed before it starts.
Founding members post ideas, questions and bug reports in the Community inside CrewBrain. A bug report can be private, so only you and our team see it.
Founding members get a direct line to the people who write the software. Start with a short application.
