How the widget works
- You set your prices: a price per unit for each part of the job (per square foot, per window, per room), a trip charge and a minimum.
- Your customer enters their job: the size of their driveway, how many windows, how many bedrooms.
- They see a range: the widget adds it up and shows a range around the total. Buttons underneath let them email or text you that estimate from their own phone, call you, or open your quote page.
A range sets honest expectations. The customer knows roughly what to expect before they call, and you still confirm the final price after seeing the job.
Questions about the widget
Is the widget really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up and no charge. A small "Instant estimate by CrewBrain" line under the widget is what keeps it free.
Where do the prices come from?
From you. You type your prices per unit, a trip charge and a minimum. The widget adds them up for your customer and shows a range around the total.
Does CrewBrain see what my customers type?
No. The estimate is worked out in your customer's browser. What they type is not sent to CrewBrain. If they press Email or Text, their own email or text app opens with the estimate written in and addressed to you, so it never passes through CrewBrain.
Can people see my prices?
Your prices are written into the embed code, so anyone who reads your page code can see them. They are the same prices the widget uses to show the estimate.
Can I change my prices later?
Yes. Come back to this page, set the new prices, and replace the code on your website.
Work out your prices first
The widget is only as good as the prices you put in. Each free pricing calculator has a button that fills this page in with prices that match your own crew costs and margin.
